Waiting On Wednesday #13

"Waiting on Wednesday" is a meme hosted by Breaking the Spine where we highlight one book that we're eagerly anticipating. Here at our blog, it'll be a book that's to be released in the next three months so we're not shooting too far in to the future (even if we really want to)!

Unbreakable was one of my top 5 books I read last year.  I cannot wait for Unmarked.  I actually have an ARC, but I am trying to be a good girl and wait closer to the release date to read it, but I don't think I have the will power.

Unmarked by Kami Garcia
Release Date: October 7, 2014
Publisher: Little, Brown For Young Readers; 384 pages
The heart-pounding sequel to the instant New York Times bestseller, Unbreakable, by New York Times bestselling Beautiful Creatures co-author Kami Garcia.

He is here... and he could be anyone.

Kennedy Waters lives in a world where vengeance spirits kill, ghosts keep secrets, and a demon walks among us–a demon she accidentally set free.

Now Kennedy and the other Legion members–Alara, Priest, Lukas, and Jared–have to hunt him down. As they learn more about the history of the Legion and the Illuminati, Kennedy realizes that the greatest mystery of all does not belong to any secret order, but to her own family. With the clock ticking and the life of someone she loves hanging in the balance, Kennedy has to ask the question she fears most: what is it about her past that has left her Unmarked?

What are YOU waiting on this week?

  1. I'm years behind on Kami Garcia books. It's actually sad. I've heard wonders about this series. Great choice!

  2. I can't say I loved Beautiful Creatures so I'm not sure if I want to read this one or not. Hope you enjoy it when you get your hands on it though!
